Rascals

I am Morgan Chiovaro, a native Atlantan.

 

I have been a professional animal caretaker for 10+ years, and I am a member of National Association of Professional Pet Sitters, the Pet Professional Guild, and the Association of Professional Dog Trainers. I graduated summa cum laude from Georgia State University with a degree in Art History and moved to the west coast for a few years. I returned to Atlanta and was a pastry chef at an Atlanta restaurant before realizing working with animals was my true calling.

 

I am experienced in many aspects of canine culture including: agility, conformation dog shows, grooming, obedience, weight pull, barn hunt, lure coursing, urban mushing, and preservation breeding of Samoyeds. I grew up with animals and started showing dogs as a teenager. I’m a member of the Atlanta Kennel Club, Samoyed Club of America, and American Kennel Club. I have successfully led dogs to earn their canine good citizenship titles, AKC champion titles, as well as trick titles and other working dog certifications. I breed health tested, top winning show dogs under my kennel Sugarcoat Samoyeds. 

 

I volunteered at Atlanta Pet Rescue and Adoption (now Best Friends Atlanta), working with cats and kittens in Cat World and taking shelter dogs for hikes.

 

Building a relationship with the animals I care for is an utmost priority. Animals, and their owners, come to trust me through my consistent, reliable, and positive nature. There is no bigger complement than the joyful welcome I receive from the animals I care for!  

 

When I’m not walking dogs or visiting with kitties, you can find me pack-hiking with my two dogs, Claudia and Calvin, reading with a cup of tea and my two cats, Billy and Sasha, or visiting with my nieces and nephew. I also love to cook! The only animal I don’t like are snakes!
